Kalani:

What a beautiful boy, don't you think?
Here is the thing...
He has just arrived at the shelter not too long ago, so he of course is scared. Sometimes he barks at people when they pass by his kennel. It is an aggressive bark, but honestly, when your depressed, you don't act all happy. You act more moody. In a dogs case, they bark. His paperwork says: This dog has behavioral problems; he may bite." I think that's ok to give people a warning, but they shouldn't mark him as behavioral problems. Dogs marked with behavior issues tend to be the first ones to be euthanized after a certain amount of time.
He can actually be sweet.
Here is what you do:
You throw in a treat(into his kennel).
Don't give him eye contact.
Don't stay close to his kennel either.
When he looks at you, without barking, throw in some more.
Once he starts wagging his tail, you can look at him, and give him attention.
Just be careful... if a dog bites you, you'll be hurt, and the dog will be euthanized.

Since everyone agrees that he's beautiful, they will give him another chance(without euthanizing him). If us visitors can prove that he's a good boy, they will never euthanize him, and if not, then.. i think you get the point.

When he starts behaving a little better, I'll tell you.

He actually isn't a bad dog at all.

Come on and see for yourself!!

Feel free to comment.

Senior Sweetheart

.............................MURPHY...............................
Murphy is an older dog, but he honestly doesn't act his age. He is 13 years old. He's an unaltered(not fixed) pit bull. He has one blue eye, and one green eye. When I first met him, I thought he was going to be timid/lazy, because he was older. He wasn't. He walked up to me, and gently took a doggie cookie out of my hands. I think he needs a forever home, and a family who can take great care of him.
Please don't let him live the rest of his life in a shelter.

REMEMBER THIS:
If you are interested in ANY of the dogs, post a comment to this website. You can ask ANY question, and I'll either reply to your comment on this website(so, my answer will be on this website), or if you leave your email, I will send you a message with your answers.

Adopt Me!

~~~~~~PLEASE ADOPT ME!!!!!~~~~~~~
These dogs that I'm listing are very sweet, and would love to have a forever home:
Boomer: He is an Australian Shepherd, possibly Border Collie too. He is around 1 year and 7 months. He isn't neutered, but he will be when he gets adopted. As soon as you walk into the shelter, he jumps up and gives you kisses. He is considered to me.. a perfect dog. Come and see him, he'd love to have a forever home.
Chloe: Chloe is a 1 year old pit bull. She is very calm, but she does have personality. She is more of a lapdog, who would just follow you wherever you go. She's beautiful, sweet, and an all around good girl. She is also not spayed, but like I have said, they will spay her once she gets adopted. So, whatcha waitin for.. Come and See her!!!
Max: Max is a 10 year old lab/pitbull. I honestly don't think he is really 10, because he has SUCH great, energetic personality. He can sometimes speak when you tell him to, but not very often.. lol. He can sit.
He is a great boy. He is definitely one of my favorite dogs at the shelter.
The Next Dogs I'm Posting Are All Playful Sweeties:
Joe Jackson
Chuleta
Chuleta-A sweet pit bull who loves to give you kisses is already spayed 1 yr 8 months
Buddy- A very calm, yet lovely Shar-Pei/Am. Staff mix- already fixed.. 4 yrs.
Joe Jackson- He is a little loud, but just wants attention-pit bull, not neutered, 6 yrs
Sonia-She is a hyper dog who needs a house with a big, fenced yard-unaltered(not fixed) 7yrs.
Goliath- Greater Swiss Mountain Dog- He is fixed, and he is 2yrs, 7mo. He is very sweet, and pretty.
Summer-German Shepherd/Lab. She is already spayed. She is one of the shelter favorites. (3yr)
Daisy.. You're Driving Me Crazy!
Daisy! She's such a sweetie.
She is a bulldog, 3 years old! She is not spayed yet, but once you adopt her, they spay her.
She has had puppies before, but they were never at the shelter. They just bred her, and gave her to the shelter. Sad, huh?
She has SUCH personality.
Personality: Daisy is fun! That basically narrows it down. She loves to play. When I go to the shelter, I flick her training treats into her kennel, and watch her RUN to get them. Some bulldogs and basset hounds tent to be lazy, but this Daisy ain't lazy, she's crazy.lol.
But, it's true. She also gives you her paw, and lays down in her cage and wants you to rub her belly. The thing is.. she doesn't realize that I can't reach her belly, because she's in a cage.
If you are looking for an all around fun, playful, sweet Bulldog, She's your match:)
Timid, Yet Sweet
Diego And Grace:
Diego and Grace are both very sweet dogs. Once you get to spend time with them, you'll really love them.
Diego:
Diego is a 7 year old Rhodesian Ridge-back, German Shepherd mix.
Personality: Diego is the type of dog that would try his hardest to get your attention. When he sees you giving attention to another dog in a separate kennel, he starts crying, and goes to the back of the kennel. He doesn't really jump up, probably because he's a little older. He is also very gentle. When you hand him a treat, he doesn't bite. When another dog is leaving his/her cage to go into the doggie yard; well, usually the other dogs bark, but Diego just looks. Nothing else.
He'd be a great dog for anyone who can pay attention to him, and treat him right. Come on and see him:)
Grace:
Grace is a sweetheart. She is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever Mix.
Personality: Grace- She is the type of dog that when she sees you giving affection to another dog, she barks. Not an aggressive bark, but a "Gimme some love too" bark. When I was petting a dog named Milly, she barked. So, I walked up to her to see what was going on. I wanted to get to know her too. She started stomping her feet, waging her tail, everything in excitement. I'm not sure how she is with other dogs, but once I find out.. I'll post another blog.
Come on and see them. It won't hurt:)
